This was a great stay for us! Typically we stay at a nearby hotel, but decided to give Nina's property a stay instead since we were planning to stay a few nights. The decor is very cute, the bed is comfortable, and the amount of space was great. I loved being able to set up my laptop at the desk area to get some work done. Location was A+. I loved being able to walk across the street to farmers' market Saturday morning and having Zingerman's a stones throw away. Not a bad walk to anywhere! We ended up not using the kitchen other than the fridge for leftovers and beverages, but it seemed well stocked. Bathroom was a bit small and fiance had issues with fluctuating water temps during one of his showers, but as advertised it is an older home and these downfalls were offset by great charm. Property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with parking in the rear and our request to leave our bags later when our flight got delayed! Will definitely be back!
Nina was very responsive and our whole experience from initial request to our departure could not have been easier!
A lovely apartment, very conveniently located
accommodations were perfect for game weekend in A2 - Kerrytown location awesome and host was extremely responsive and accomodating
Not the Ritz. But clean and well situated, close to the University in a lively neighborhood. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Ann Arbor.
The property was wonderful and exactly as described. Couldn’t have been more convenient. We will be back!
Convenient location. Walked everywhere. Would definitely book again.
This adorable duplex is tucked away in downtown Ann Arbor and you can reach anywhere on campus or downtown by a short walk. The kitchen is stocked with pans, silverware, etc and there are plentiful beds. It was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. We also forgot a charger and the property manager contacted us soon after we checked out to let us know, which I found to be very thoughtful. HIGHLY recommend this place for a weekend stay!
Apartment is in a really outstanding part of Ann Arbor, couldn't be better. It's an old house, so expected issues: fuse blowing because of running microwave and AC at the same time. Some minor housekeeping issues (small ants on the property, a clogged drain, dusting could definitely be better). Also would have liked to know that AC is only in one of the bedrooms (though one door can be opened and got decent air flow from the unit in the living room). It was an issue in one of the bedrooms because it was a hot week and we had little ones with us. In general, though, a great place based entirely on the location.
We rented the apartment to stay in after a concert at the Ark. it was nice to be within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was clean. Good shower. Would recommend.
This is our second time staying at this property. It is comfortable, clean and in a great location. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, Zingerman's etc.
We loved staying here. The location was ideal, close to shopping, local grocery stores, the farmers' market, and a short walk to the University of Michigan campus. We would definitely stay here again.
Really enjoyed our stay. Nina was very responsive and friendly.
We spent 2 nights at this property and really loved it. It’s a great location and a very neat use of an old house. The finishes are modern for an old house and Nina was wonderful to work with. Only complaint was that it was hot in the unit because the heat needs to run to warm the unit upstairs but we made it work. Great property, highly recommend!
Nina was a lovely hostess to us and her place is very clean, comfortable and well appointed with soaps, towels, coffee, tea, everything you need. I'd say the only drawback was the street noise, but Nina has bowls of ear plugs to make up for it. It's located in a very convenient location with restaurants, a market and shops across the street.
We cannot thank you enough for your part in our fantastic graduation weekend. The location was perfect, right next to the Big House & Crisler arena. No need to worry about parking for either ceremony! Check-in and checkout were easy. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well appointed! We really enjoyed our stay.
A quick walk to town and just a few feet from Michigan Stadium. Fantastic location!
Very nice propert and location
Second visit here, and I cannot imagine staying anyplace else. Unit is very well-kept, size works well for a couple, family, or small group, and Nina makes everything easy. Gamedays are phenomenal but this place would be tough to top year-round. Nothing but gushing reviews from my travel companions, who all want to come back or rent it for themselves.
The apartment was convenient and located in the heart of downtown, a short walk to Kerrytown or the Stadium. Housed in an historic building, it is surrounded by apartments, stores, etc. on a busy commuter street. Lots to see and do, especially since we had a toddler enamored by road construction vehicles, buses and trucks!
Great location. Walk to everything.
On this visit we stayed for 4 weeks, and it really became our home away from home. Once again, Nina was a most gracious host, responding immediately to questions, accommodating requests, etc. The location can't be beat, and her apartment is wonderful. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Everything is as described. We'd, of course, stay here again!
Apartment was as advertised. Spacious 2 bd clean and modern. Location is ideal if you want access to both main St and campus
The property was as advertised and was perfect for two people. We really enjoyed the convenience of being close to downtown and campus. We would definitely stay there again.
Well maintained, small but comfortable.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Nina's! She was so thorough in her initial instructions (I would highly recommend reading over this prior to your arrival) on obtaining/returning the key and the parking permit. Our room was comfortable and spacious; the TV was fairly large (although we never turned it on); the shower had an awesome water pressure; she also has lovely artwork throughout the unit! The location was also very convenient for us as we were mostly in the downtown Ann Arbor area. There was some normal building noise from other tenants entering/exiting the building, but this is to be expected by many of the structures in Ann Arbor; also, we had earplugs which helped. Overall, we would stay here again if returning to Ann Arbor.
Couldn't work the TV...bed very comfortable...nice being able to park the car and not have to use it again until time to go home
